Ok just going to ask for a personal opinion on this.
I have two lowers coming to my FFL soon. One is a Spikes Punisher stripped lower, the other is one of the Palmetto State Armory ones that was on sale for 50 bucks. Just wondering what you think is going to be the better quality one? I am having a hard time deciding which one I want to go on the rifle I am building, and which one that will go on the pistol I will be building over the summer. My DPMS Upper is sitting here lonely.. :( Thanks! |

In my opinion a lower is a lower..The quality of the lower comes more from what the quality of the parts you assemble the lower with...Our Aero Precision stripped lower we used with my Sons CMMG upper was assembled using a DPMS LPK ..Probably not the top of the line kit but it has worked well and did not break the bank.....
I think any lower from a half way respectable Co will be fine and you will not ever know the differance between them other than the name on them..Most lowers are in fact made by the same Companys and are just stamped by the place marketing them with their own rollmark...PSA and Spikes may in fact be the same lower made by the same manufacturer.. |
