Looking to build my brother an AR before he gets deployed in the spring.  I saw that Quentin Defense offers a billet lower / upper set that has the US Navy insignia engraved on the lower, so I'm leaning towards that, I just don't have any experience with them.

Hows the fit and finish?  Is there much slop between the upper & lower?

Thanks in advance.

I've owned one before and it was GTG. Very nice billet lower for the money.

My SPR build is Quentin Defense billet and its a perfect fit upper to lower.  Plus, that roll mark is super clean!!

I got mine a few years ago. I have the USMC lower. They are extremely well fitting.

2 here.

The 2nd one will be finished once I get a LMT 2 stage FCG from the EE.

I'm tempted to pick up one more with the ambi-bolt release for $40 more than I got the first 2 for.

They're nice lowers---don't hesitate to get one or 2 or even 5

The threaded bolt catch pin is a nice touch also.
