Just wondering if anyone has had experience with the Mueller optic system ? I have recently been considering purchasing one to put on my new Bushmaster O.R.C.
Now I know, it is not a Aimpoint or one of the other higher priced optic systems and it is made in China. But, my budget has been stretched and i plan on having this on the carbine for a while. It does have the auto brightness and the various settings are good. I like the fact that it can be used qucikly. It does seem like a fragile system and as i said, i will upgrade when possible or if possible. |

Mueller was on here for a while trying to design a "combat optic"with that horseshoe reticle. I bought one from them for testing. In less than one magazine the retitcle had come loose and rotated so verticle section of the crosshairs was at 2 and 8 instead of 12 and 6. They are popular on the hunting boards for some reason. I'm sure like all the cheap stuff I have seen break I will be told mine "was an exception and they are great' They were very nice about taking it back and refunding my money. |

I've got one of their Sport Dot 4-16x50 scopes, bought used, and it's decent for the money. It gets dark with really finicky eye relief at the high zoom, and I rarely use it over 10x. After a few years of limited use, the objective lens started rattling. I sent it back to them, and they sent me a new one. It cost me $23 for shipping, handling, and insurance.
You have to have the original receipt to get warranty support. Luckily, the guy I bought mine from included it. |
