It appears that the front sight (the irons / back up on top) is too far left.
Looking at it by eye.
I haven't taken it to zero yet, but suspect I'll need to move it.
What tool / device would I use if this is neccessary?

I assume you are referencing the NSN model. The front sight is offset on all of them and I've never bothered with moving mine. It's meant to be a very close in option and for that it is accurate enough for my needs. Try it out and see if you really need to move it.

They are easy to move over. I did it on mine. I only had to move it maybe 1/10th of an inch to get it where it was usable.

Just a punch and a hammer should do the trick. Go slow. If you are worring about marking it up with the punch a couple layers of electrical or masking tape should work.
