Doing a Desert Storm A2 build. It's a grey Colt. My question is this. Did the Colts or FN's for that matter have selector ticks on the ejection port side of the selector in those days. I know that the semi Colts to this day do not have ticks on the far side. Any input would be valuable. Thanks, Matt

Yes, that was part of the A2 design, along with SAFE / SEMI / BURST markings on the right side in addition to the left.

While there have been several different style "ticks" observed on .mil M16A2's, M4's, etc., the closest you'll find, with regard to the specific way the tick is machined on the ones that came/come installed on a factory Colt and FN rifles, would be a standard STAG Arms ar-15 selector:

FNs in the 705XXXX SN range had tick marks on the right side.
