Want to know what the best A2 std. handguards for my rifle. I want to keep original specs of my rilfe so I want to replace my actual handguard (I don't know the manufacurer) for a brand new one.
I'm looking for a good quality handguards without gap between upper and lower halves, tight fit of the halves, good finish, nice fit with the delta ring/ triangular cap and quality of the material - plastic/composite.
What your guys think about?

Colt
RRA
Bushmaster

Scool me please.

Thanks.

I imagine Colt would offer what you;re looking for. Go on the EE and see if anyone is selling some takeoffs from a FN upper or something. But older Bushmaster and RRA would both work, both are good quality stuff.

I know it isn't standard, but a M16A2 with a KAC M5 isn't unheard of in the sandbox. just saying...

Colt HG's are the best IMHO--you can see the the impregnated fiber strands around the edges of the HG's and vent holes.  I have a set of Bushamsters and they're just as good as the Colts.  I'm NOT familiar with other manufacturer, but if they're not mil-spec, they're more likely the cheap thermoset plastic
