| Quick question about these handguards. My Troy TRX gets hot as hell after just a little bit of shooting(as in two mags at an average pace). Does the Midwest get that hot? Looking for an alternative as its kinda pointless to have a rifle thats too hot to hold on to. |

Some handguards vent heat better than others. My URX 3.1 is fine after a string of shots unlike a lot of other handguards I've used. One thing none of them prevent is them cooking in the sun. That's the main reason I use rail panels.
I'd assume the MI rail would be about the same as Troy. |
