| I heard somewhere that Magpul is going to change the PRS and use the same material as the CTR and also mill it out more to save weight. I know with the UBR and their new lower coming out that they have their hands full but I am very interested in a lighter version of the PRS. Thanks |

Yes, there is a change coming in the PRS. The PRS will soon be made out of the same high strength material as the CTR. The aluminum butt pad will also be milled down to a smaller size and have a rubber boot fastened to it. As far as weight reduction, I don't know the exact difference. It'll be a little lighter due to less aluminum on the butt. Hope that helps. edit to add. L:ook for the change in the first quarter of the year. |
