Are they any lighter than regular USGI mags?

Never weighed one.....

I would say the PMAG is a little heaver.

Thought I'd heard the Pmags are a bit heavier too. Don't have a scale to compare.

Never tried weighing them hand in hand. But I'm going to say the pmag was a smig heavier, although not enough of a weight difference to care.

OKAY 15.9 OZ.
PMAG 17.4 OZ. with dust cover

Both mags loaded with the same ammo and the PMAG dust cover weighs .3 OZ.
