How do you tell the difference between the polymer coated and the laquer?

Does it say polymer on the box?  I reccently bought a bunch of Wolf that was advertized as polymer coated and want to make sure that I reccived the right stuff.

IIRC it says so on the box.  If it doesn't, the lacquered ammo has a green tinge and looks kind of sloppily applied.  The polymer coating is just a flattish gray coating and feels slick.

You can tell by looking at it.

Lacquer on the left, poly on the right

Must be me but for some reason I miss the smell of that old wolf ammo.

Funny.... I just ordered and received a case of Wolf "Military Classic" in 7.62x39 and it is poly coated. I was expecting the old laquered stuff and was surprised to see it all poly coated.

Lot No. P92

UPDATE: I emailed Wolf and they informed me they are switching the Military Classic to be poly coated on a permanent basis.
