I was handling my spare parts box and noticed there are differences on extractor springs. My observations from 5 different springs: CMT / RRA extractor spring with blue insert: 4 coils Thickness .022" - .0235" Length uncompressed .177" - .212" Spring force is weak compared to Wolff Extra Power spring. Wolff Extra Power spring (measured from 3 spare springs) 4 coils Thickness .025" - .026" Length .245" - .255" Extremely hard to put in place. Had to press extractor against table to get extractor pin in place. How many coils should be on extractor spring with blue insert? What should be thickness of the spring? Length? What are same dimensions for the original black insert spring? MN |
