What would you expect to pay (ball park) for the following in a package to start out reloading (all items are new or close to it but I am buying them from a co-worker and don’t know anything about reloading)? -Lee 4 die 45acp set -(2) Lee 4 hole turrets -Lee powder measurer -Lee 3 die 38spl/357 -Lee small/large primer feeder -RCBS model powder scale -Lyman trimmer 9 pilots -Lee hand primer -Lee 4 hole press -Lee double disk kit Is there anything else I would need to get started? Thanks. |
| Ask your question in the reloading forum. You will most likely get more info there. |

It's all worth about $200 - $250. Depends on what shape everything is in. Figure about 1/2 of new street price. You'll need a DIGITAL CALIPER to measure case length and overall cartridge length. $15-20 Case lube. I use ONE SHOT. A reloading book or two is very important. Bullets, cases, powder, primers. |

You'll get better responces in the reloading forum The value of that equipment depends on what caliber(s) you intend to reload. IMO Also, what powder measure is it and Is it a Lyman Trim Pro? Personally I am a CRB and would rather pay the least amount he will take rather than what someone may determin is fair. |

Ask what he wants for the package.......check the prices you'll have to pay IF you bought the same package, new......then subtract x% for the stuff being used.......is that fair enough? What it's worth..........is what someone is willing to pay for it. ___________________________________ Check here for re-loading sites (how to)............... http://www.reload-nrma.com/basic-rules.html http://www.reloadammo.com/relsteps.htm http://rifle-company.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=911 http://www.handloads.com/articles/default.asp?id=33 ____________________________________ Aloha, Mark |
