What is the signifigance of the different color of followers in magazines?

Black was the original style
Green was the original anti-tilt follower.
There are a myriad of colors for Magpul non-tilt followers.

anti tilt is MUCH easier to load because the rounds push in straight without the follower tilting and all works well in reverse while feeding

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I don't get up here to the tech forum much.
I am the kind of guy that don't want to know how to build a watch. I just want to know what time it is.
