Hey guys, I'm still in the process of building mine and had a question about midlength vs. car. I like the look of the mid setup w/FF handguards. I've got the CAR stock w/buffer and spring, if I run a middy 16" setup do I need another buffer/spring? Also, what do you think about running a mid FF over a carbine barrel w/low profile gasblock? Pros/cons? And lastly, I'm liking the look of the spikes fake M4 cans. If I put that over a 16" will that interfere or fit on a middy setup? Thanks for the opinions, if you get a sec take a look at my setup so far and tell me what you think:

Roggio Arsenal lower, RRA LPK, and RRA upper. I installed myself and did color fill too. Thanks for looking!

Your buffer and spring should be just fine.  As for fake cans, I'd waste my money on other more useful items, that is of course you have an endless stream of bread.

Call J&T Distributing, they had some availabilty on midlength barrels last month and they don't have them advertised on their site. So alot of people don't know they've got them. They're a site sponsor and you can go there at the top, the one with the american flag in their banner.

See:

Oh, and here it is with my carbine with an extended FF rail. I got both too.
