I am not really familiar at all with rail systems, I am JUST starting to really try to learn all about the AR15. My question is, an a lot of rail systems components I see relatively large holes that are machined into the system, and I am curious what they are for. Here is a good example of what I mean: http://yankeehill.bizland.com/store/media/YHM-639K.jpg I am wondering purpose the three holes milled right through the dovetailing are for. |
