Specifically regarding these two scopes....Nikon buck master and Nikon monarch 3. Both come with semi-tactical turrets meaning they are well marked and very good tactile and audible clicks when adjusting. They aren't outright "tactical" scopes, closer to a hunting scope with the ability to dope for different ranges.

Anyway, what I'm asking about is does anyone hae any experience with these scopes and their repeatability, meaning- after you zero them, and set the spring loaded nob to the zero position, does that zero hold true after playing around at different ranges?  I have both these scopes and i have a feeling that they lose repeatability. But haven't done enough testing myself to confirm. I had both, on if rifles, zeroed for 100, then started playing around at 200 and 400, adjusting the turrets so I wouldn't have to Kentucky windage. I feel like when I went back to my zero setting. Poa = poi @ 100,  both scopes were a little off. But I'm not 100 percent confident in that assessment just wanna hear you guys input thanks!

Lookup a "box test" and do it with your scopes.

Oh damn thanks for the heads up.  That test sounds great but honestly, I'm not sure I'm even accurate enough to perform that test. I will attempt a variant of it next Sunday when I'm back behind the bench
