How much would a scope drop in vaule if it has slight indentions from rings on it?  I have a Sightron
SII 4X16X42 mil dot I may sell but I'm not sure.  It's a great scope and it always holds zero.  I used
a different type of rings for it a while back than I usually use and it left indentions that are very small.
Funny thing is my friend bought the same rings and the same thing happened to him.  Anyways
know it will drop it's vaule but I am wondering how much?  If it makes it worhtless on the market I'll
probably just keep it because it still functions the same and I'm sure I could use it in the future.

I know it's because I over torqued it.  I bought the type of rings that slide together on one side and tighten 2 screws on the other side.  I have always before just used the kind that has 2 hex screws on each side.  I tightened it about how much I normally would but I guess you have to be more careful with that type of rings because that has never happened to me before.  I'm still using the scope I was just curious.  It lists on midway for $420.
