was evaluating my own collection and realized that i've got ARs that haven't even seen the light of day in a while.

thinning of the herd is in order.  how about your collection?

ETA:  poll is more about guns you've owned for a while, if they're brand spanking ass new it kinda goes without saying

I have shot all mine. Some have a couple thousand through them, some only a few hundred.

Out of three dozen AR variants I have one that has never been fired –– a recent complete-rifle purchase that I'm not even sure I will keep, I only bought it because it was a very good deal amidst all the crazy prices.

OTOH, I have several that probably haven't been fired in several years and a couple that only see the light of day when I clean out/rearrange the safes every few years. Not "safe queens" at all, just ones that don't fill any current needs but which I'm not interested in getting rid of, either.

I have a few that go out @yearly, just for 'testing'.
I have a few that go out that i shoot regular and carefilly (actually count the score on the silluette)
I got a few that i try to light cigarettes on after i dump a mag...
1 in dedicated .22
1 in 762x39
2 stripped lowers in the safe, forgot about them untill earlier this year... (no daylight on them)

I use one quite a bit and shoot some competition stuff with it, it's a CMMG upper on a Ameetec lower, but I have 2 Noveskes (N4 light basic and a Low Pro) that have only been fired to be sighted in. Probably around 10 rounds each...and I still have a complete lower sitting in my safe needing an upper to go on it. I just can't decide what upper I want for it...

I have a couple retro ones made in the 70's that I don't shoot much at all, also a dissipator that doesn't get out often.

I find myself shooting my SEGP AR-15.com ZM AR the most.

I've gotten back into handguns so my AR's have been collecting dust.

I have a Colt 6920 , RRA entry tactical , and a build Colt barrel & upper/Stag lower and so on ... that I shoot alot. Still have a bushy varminter that is to this day unfired. Have had the gun for almost a year but the local indoor range is only 25-30 yards and just have not made the long trip to the 100-200 yard range to break in the barrel and site it in.

Every AR I've ever owned has had many thousands of rounds put through it.  I only have 1 now and just passed 2900 rounds in the short time I've owned it (about 10 months).  Need more time to go shooting!

I only have one. I shoot it when I can afford it.

I try to keep my collection trimmed down to a main user and a back-up. A 3rd AR slips in and out every once in a while.

All of my older guns have over 500 rds through them. My first gun has 2k. My newer guns are still under 250 rds because it's expensive to shoot at the moment.

out of a little over a dozen currently in the rotation, only one has yet to be fired..Knights Tan E3. Still waiting to decide what optic to run on her..kinda not real eager due to the fact that I own a black E3 also..all other riflles have an excess of 500+ rounds with 3 of them averaging over 3K..

I got my first AR 4 months ago, and have run ~1500 rounds through her so far.

I have another AR that as of right now is unfired. But I just got it assembled this week, and am going on vacation this weekend. So it will be at least another week till I get some ammo through that one. So I didn't count that so as not to skew your results.
