| I recently purchased some ammo in cans. I would like to know what it is. The owner of the shop said it was British supplus but he was unsure of the bullet weight. On the right side of the can it says..........900 ROUNDS 5.56MM BALL L2A2 and then under that it says 10 in CHR 150 in BDR L4A1. Under that it has ADAC NO 11903-02 and under that UN SER NO 0012 RG.28.7.92..................... On the other side it has CARTRIDGES FOR WEAPONS and then a circle with a U over an N inside the circle. After that the no. 4A1/Y19/S/90/GB/0355. On the end of the can it has some numbers stincelled in but I can not read all of them. The ammo came on stripper clips of 10 with 3 clips to a pouch and 150 rounds in a nylon pack, 5 compartments to the nylon belt or whatever it is. I have fired about 200 rounds of this stuff with 0 problems. The owner of the shop says he can not get any more. Thank You for any info on this ammo. |
+1 It's Radway Green SS109. I'm not 100% on the weight. It's 62 of 63 grain. The stuff shoots great IMHO. Never had a problem with '92 can. Mine came in a poorly painted brown can with yellow lettering. Ammo on strippers with nylon bandoleers. |
