I recently acquired a Mega Arms Tactical Trigger as seen here. I installed it into my RRA LAR-15 lower. When getting ready to drop the safety in I noticed that the rear section of the trigger was obstructing the path of the safety axis bar for my B.A.D.A.S.S. I finally managed to get it in there with a little trickery only to realize that the hammer will not disconnect. I adjusted the set screws every which way, replaced the KNS anti-roll pins with the provided pins, and even tried a standard safety lever. Before I begin modifying components I'd like to know which of the following would be recommended:

  • Take a little bit out of the front of the hole for the trigger hole to allow the trigger to come forward a bit

  • Take a little off of the safety axis bar

  • Take a little off of the rear shelf of the trigger just behind the disconnector

Which would you suggest?

I dont know that i would recommend any of that.
Something else is wrong. I assume your old trigger worked fine?
Are you 100% sure the new trigger is installed correctly?

Compare the old trigger that worked to the new one see if any variances exist.
Check that everything is installed correctly.

The old trigger had to have some shaved off. I believe the lower receiver is out of spec, but I bought it secondhand off of a guy who didn't even know what it was. On the last trigger we had to take some out of the bottom of the trigger shelf from under the disconnector spring back. I'll have pictures in a few hours
