Picked up a Colt Match Target, Match HBar, 16" barrel w/ flash supressor from a buddy, nice rifle, but terrible trigger!  Will a Rock River 2 stage National Match trigger with .154" pins go in this baby ?  Is this a "small pin", or a "big pin" Colt?  SN is CMH026xxx, if that helps.  Need to know ASAP, please!

Your rifle should have the larger hammer/trigger pins of .171 diameter.

However, I have HEARD here that there ARE larger pin trigger groups available from Rock River, and there are other sources DEFINATELY supplying match trigger groups for the large Colt pinned guns.

If I were you, I would measure the pins to make sure.

Small pin is +/- .156" and large pin is +/- .170".

Rock River does make a large pin two stage trigger, however, you will need to remove the sear block if you have one. Also, finding a large pin Rock River is not easy. They do not make that many and most are scarfed up ASAP. They are like hen's teeth.
