I'm looking at a Stag Model 2 MI ERS M4. Being that it has a flip up rear sight, would I have any problem if I were to take the front sight off and put on a railed gas block and a flip type front sight?

That should work just fine, although many people have flip up rear sights and keep the standard FSB. Personal preference.

I one that prefers the standard FSB with a rear flip up buis.
