I ordered a couple of the split FH washers for a couple builds that are just sitting here collecting dust...since the only good one I had in my old M16 parts box was a .720" OD x .105" thick black phosphated piece, which fits very nicely and looks great...  But the ones that came in are .720" OD x .180" width...and they are way too strong...they leave galling behind when removed...   So...Has there been a change in spec for the split lock washers for the FH's??? Or did I get a wonky supplier??? Where can I get a dozen or so of the thin ones???

Well maybe yes,maybe no. I looked through my split ring washers and found both styles. To further complicate things, I found examples of thin ones and thick ones that had and also didn't have the textures shown on your thick split washer. I also found a thin one that is slightly thicker than the other thin ones. So much for milspec. |

I might try them...seeing as how they are Industry Partners...  I need some odds & ends...carbine buffer/spring...carrier & bolt...FH washers...FCG...barrel...
