I was wondering if anyone has tried this. Superior Arms has a separate adjustment set screw to limit the engagement of the sear. I was looking at my MEGA receiver and noticed that the grip hole was threaded all the way through.
What if I used a 1 ¼ “  Â¼-28 set screw and used that instead of the standard screw in the grip. I would set the engagement and loctite the set screw, then use a nut to hold the grip in place. I doubt that I am the first to think of this, so who has tried it, and how does it work?

I looked at the Brownell's catalog, and got something like 10,000 entries, went to order and they say the part number is invalid....... ?

Thanks, I found it. Damn, $44.00 for a screw, I was thinking more along the lines of $3.00 for some all thread or a long set screw and a nut........hink
