I have 4 AR variants that I am going to add a tactical charging handle, bolt catch, mag release, etc. to. I would like to hear your thoughts on who's piece that you liked the best whether it was a DPMS or Bagder O item, etc. as well as finding the best prices and save on the S&h as well.  God bless the troops protecting our freedom!!
Thanx for the help and Happy Turkey day

The only thing that I would swap would be the charging handle (PRI, personally).  Leave the rest alone.

Thank you for the reply! So you don't like the extended mag release and bolt catch, etc?

Not a fan of extended bolt catch or mag release, but I like Badger Ordnance tac latches, the Gen 1 on precision scoped rifles and Gen 2 on carry rifles.

WOW, I'm surprised that no one likes the bolt catch and mag release?

Never seen a reason for them.  I am plenty fast with the existing items, no need to bolt more crap on the gun.

Those devices are a technical solution to a training problem.

I bought a badger ord. Gen. 2 latch and didnt like it.  When you pull the handle back it isnt even with the rest of the charging handle...so your finger slips off of it.

It's kind of hard to explain.

Plus when I'm prone, I let the one side of the CH sit inside my right nostril.  The tac latch got in the way.  I'm not going to change my prone position for a stupid latch.

I put the original back on.  I have no problems cycling the regular one anyway.
So I would say don't waste your money.
