I tried searching, but you can only find so much in the last 30 days.. Alright I'm on my first AR build, and just got my Sun Devil lower and an RRA LPK. I have a pretty good idea what I want, but not quite sure on some things.. I want a 16" barrel with a 1/7 twist, a YHM 12" FF quad rail, and an ACE ARFX-E OR some sort of adjustable stock.. now where I'm getting confused is what kind of upper I should get. I want a flat top, but what are M4 feed ramps? If I get one with the feed ramp cut out, do I need anything else special to complete it? Do I need a special barrel? Also, by having a 12" rail on a 16" barrel, do I get some kind of low profile gas block to slide under? and what front flip-up BUIS would be recommended? I was looking at the Del-Ton barrel kits, and was wondering what the different types of barrels were? They are all 16" but they list M4 Pre-Ban, Pre-Barrel, Shorty Carbine, Lightweight, Post Ban etc.. Other than the post ban having a welded on compensator, what are the differences? Anything else I would need other than a magazine, scope, and ammo? Thanks in advance! |
