Hello to everyone I hope not to roll eyes with some questions but I had a real tough time deciding which area to ask these questions in. Seeing this area really knows what is going on with rifle cal. sbr/pistol setups I decided to hit you guys up first. A few things to know I live in a evil state that has accepted the awb after the feds gave it up, also I cannot use any NFA options here, not allowed at least to my knowledge. So here is my deal, 1 lower new build thoughts are to keep it very light A3 upper with 11.5 inch upper with a perm attached ext. I was thinking about using a Gemtech Outback 2 dummy can (remember tech I cannot use any type of FH like the xm177 ext.) Do you guys think this would be lighter than a pencil barrel setup ? Building full size AR SA is kidde play for me have done many. I have not handled any sbr/pistol uppers before so I dont know how they feel in the ar set up except for the m4 carbine at 14.5 in. My smg exp comes from Mp5s in short form FA, but I will never be able to have one of my own here. I was reading a post last week about pistol AR with VFG as a title 1 firearm if it was over 26in that rally confused me  . I look forward to your comments/help I am in no hurry just wanted to sketch out the plan. TY Doc.
