Can someone with more knowledge than me explain the difference between the half and full spacers for the A.R.M.S. #22M68 mount? Which one does what, which might be the best choice to use and that sort of thing.

If you're running the mount on a flat top, you'll be better served by the full or cantilever spacers.
I havent yet figured out the 1/2 spacer and its purpose.

Would the 1/2 spacer pop the Aimpoint up too high if used on an RASII?

Yes.
You dont need a spacer with the 22M68 to use it on the RAS II hump.

Mayhaps the 1/2 spacers is for other types of weapons like Hk's etc... Just a thought...
