When you mounted your T1 which side was the QD lever on?  I don't think it matters, but I've always wondered what others do.

i mount it so the lever points to the back when closed so it doesnt snag

So, ejection port side.  That's the same as in Larue's foldout poster of all their mounts.

Older style mounts have the lever on the left side. Newer mount desings usually have them on the right. Looking at the pics on the LaRue website should help.
