[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Quick help with a vortex magnifier

Purchased a used vortex magnifier in the flip to side mount. I noted a slight wobble . From what I can see its in the elbow portion where it hinges . Is there a way to adjust this or is this normal? And if it is faulty can someone suggest another 1/3 mount I can purchase and drop the tube into it? Thanks in advance

Not sure. Im guessing its the vortex brand flip mech? They have great customer service, might replace for free. If not I'd suggest Primary arms flip mech. works well but you always get what you pay for.

yes. vortex mount. i know this does not affect zero but it does move the reticle in view. just wondering if it is loose or made that way
