Is DSA on par with Bravo Co. or is it closer to DPMS?  Just wondering weather or not to drink the kool-aid.....Thanks for the advice.....

I'd say that DSA is closer to RRA, Stag or the like.

I'm a newbee here and I just bought a DSA a couple hours ago.  I have a DEL-TON already built but I could not pass up the price for another build.  I already have 4 more lowers that need to be topped off.  I hope the DSA will  be ok.

DSA, on the whole, does not make quality ARs.

There have also been a lot of quality control issues with DSA in the not so distant past.

With BCM, you know a) you're getting a true mil-spec, quality product; and b) their CS is second to none, on the chance you do have a problem. There's a reason BCM costs more than DSA.

Leaving out alot in between, It would go:
BCM
DPMS
DSA

DSA is decent, but nowhere close to BCM. Then again, not much is.

I know there have been complaint's about quality control.  My upper functions perfectly and I know of 6 others built from when they first started their AR deals deal until recently that were built and all funtion perfectly.  As for lowers they admitted they had a bad batch with the mag release hole being undersized.  I have talked to them on phone they were pleasant to deal with and honest with me on ship dates.  They are swamped with orders.  I can think of several othe big companies when they ar craze happened that had quality control issues  and they have been in the Ar business for a long time.  Bottom line just like the other companies I will not mention. DSA replaces their products if there is a problem.  I think the difference is buying from someone who will stand behind their product, does nothing and waits for the next sucker to purchase their product or goes out of business while screwing customers over in process.   My first choices would be spikes or BCM but If I ever build another budget rifle it will be a DSA again.
