So I got a new floating rail in the mail today and was stuck working, not having much time to look up specifics.
I'm pretty tool savvy and I'm not worried about the physical attaching of the rail or removing the gas block and barrel nut. I'm more concerned about the little intricacies that I might not know. The rifle has had less than 100 rounds through it. Should I be greasing any threaded hardware or? Are there any crush washers that should be replaced or should I be ok reusing the hardware? Is there anything else that's not exactly straight-forward that I should be on the lookout for? Thanks for all the help guys! Have a great weekend! Mike |
