Fore grip? What are you using it for? Are you referring to a Vert grip, hand stop, angled forward grip?

I've got a couple LaRue FUGs.  They aren't cheap but they work well, and two is enough I can swap them around quickly.

3 different caps for different lengths. Storage space. Best QD system on the market IMHO.  Made in the USA.

$107 is a decent price.

Try one. You'll thank me.

The old KAC ones aren't true QD, but you can twist the cap off as fast as you can flip a QD lever. They're about as cheap as you can get.

I like the ADM solution.  You know, the folks that make the QD mounts.  They make one especially for your existing vertical grip.  ADM AD-170-VPG.  Not cheap, but very strong and very reliable QD function.  And, as stated, you are not limited to any particular grip.   Use your favorite one with it.   I think they are discounted by most vendors to about $80 or so.  It's only .600" thick.  And you can use it with a lot of other things -- anything small that mounts to a 1913 rail and needs QD convenience.  Very versatile.

+1

I love my Larue.. plus it is adjustable... you can make it longer or shorter. Also can store a small bottle of lube or something else inside.

Thanks

This is how I bought mine.  Picked it up off the EE.  I've been very happy with it.

You can also check the EE or eBay for "surplus" KAC Vertical Fore Grips. I've seen some sell as low as $25 dollars in the past. Quick on and off with the twist of the bottom plug.
