Is it possible to pull a trigger so fast that it sounds like an automatic?

Yes.

bumpfiring?

[#3]
Sure.  I doubt anyone could do it for a full 30 round magazine, but there are plenty of trick shooters who make a point of shooting faster than an MG in demonstration.

It's called bumpfiring.

Probably not pull to equal the auto rate on a M16 for a prolonged time, but you could bumpfire...

Yes.

Accurate? Not at first but with practice, accuracy will come. When I get any junk ammo I just throw downrange as fast as I can pull the trigger and it does sound close to full auto.

With practice, you should put 10 rounds center mass at 15yds in under 2 seconds.

A light trigger and some practice and it's very possible, with out bump firing. One of our customers can rip off rounds in his SVI so fast that he's gotten checked at a few competitions lately. Not shitting you, most people probably wouldn't be able to tell by the bursts he does.

My friend can shoot a full 1911 mag in under a second.

From a low ready at 10 meters.  two rounds in the kill ring of an izzy in .55 seconds. It's not hard if you have a nice sight and fast twitch muscles that are well exercised.

Round it to 3 rounds a second. 30 rounds in 10 seconds. 180 rounds a minute. Nowhere near full auto.
