OK, i'm zeroing my m4. if i never move the elevation knob, does it matter where it is when i zero it?  I read a lot of different zeroing methods and they all have variations on where to set the elevation knob. If it always stays on the same setting, does it matter where it is when you zero it? Thanks guys!

No, it wouldn't matter, BUT why not get the benefit of useable knobs?

Also - it does matter VERY much at what distance you zero.  It directly impacts how flat the trajectory is over a given range.
