RAS M4 Seconds > Rifles, Uppers, Lowers, Barrels, and more

Just had the $150 RAS M4 Seconds delivered. I have had a good look around but i don't see the blemishes that would indicate why they are seconds, so heck of a saving over the full retail and a recent manufacture to boot.

Odd... your rail markings aren't backwards like the "blems" I've bought in the past.

I don't think they're blems at all. Rather a way to get around the requirement that they not be sold cheaper to the public than they're sold to the Gubment.

I agree they're a good buy. I run 3 or 4 of them myself.

Color seems fine too, others have said their seconds had a purplish tint, doesn't seem to be the case on these.

Looks good to me. I have two myself and I like them a lot, but I couldn't imagine paying full retail for one.

Had the same experience with mine. The only thing I can think of that might qualify is that some of the markings are a little lighter than others.

Yes the markings are lighter on the rail than those on the Colt Le6920 it is mounted on, but I don't see mugh difference if any on the markings actually on the rail.

Looks good, but I'd never pay that much for a drop-in rail, especially a blem model.

I've picked up both the M4 and M5 RAS "blemish" rails before. Never could find the blemish.

Now I just wish I could get the RAS FF in a "blemish"

Yes, I don't have enough personal familiarity to 100% avoid getting taken with a fake on eBay, so I thought I would buy direct to be sure.

Huh? $150 is a bargain for this rail.

FF of comparible quality are at least a hundred more. And these aren't really Blems.

I ordered a set of the RAS M5(rifle length) rails for my M16A4gery build and received them today. Only blemish I can see is that the
T numbers on the bottom rail are not as white as the T numbers on the top and side rails. Very happy with them for the price! I love
KAC gear!! I'll try to snap some pictures and get them posted in the next day or two.
