[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RRA Charging Handle Issue

I bought a RRA charging handle to use on a build where I was using a DPMS upper.

The issue is that when you try to pull it back once in the upper it gets stuck. I replaced it with a DPMS charging handle I had from another of my guns and it functions perfect.

Has anyone ever had any issues with RRA's charging handles not fitting well in any upper? hinking.gif

Is it their C7 style upper? I have read some of those are out of spec and non DPMS handles won't fit. Other than that, I've not run into problems with RRA's handles.

There was a couple post about bad handles a couple years or so ago that were short top to bottom at the front and would slip over the notch on the front of the carrier and bind.

Thanks j3, it feels like that is what this one is doing. I guess I'll have to order another one then. I'll order from DMPS just to be safe.
