I took my Elite Comp out to sight it in.
I am running an EOTech 551.
Shots were taken from the bench at 50 yards.
I used Federal 55gr. FMJ I purchased from Wal-Mart (the stuff comes in a 100rd box).
Sunny clear afternoon, in the high 50's.
All targets were taken with a five shot group. Each group was shot within 10 Sec.
My cat loves the new RRA case
notice the long rail cover... I used them to stop the two side sling rings from flapping around.
This first target was shot Co-witness with irons and the EOTech
This second target was shot with irons only, and the EOTech turned off
The third target was shot with the BUIS folded down and using the EOTech only
I previously owned an Elite UTE2 mid-length. I feel that the Elite Comp is a nice upgrade.
The one thing I am not thrilled about, the gas block is affixed by 4 Hex-head bolts. I would prefer a pinned version better.
I did notice a cant in the front sight. So I decided to sight in the EOTech first. After the EOTech was sighted in, it was very easy to take the
cant out of the front sight, by loosening the hex bolts. Still, I think a straight pinned BUIS version would be better.
A minor annoyance is the three sling loops permanently attached to the gas block. Too many options to manage. I plan on running a single point
sling in the future, so I am temped to dremel these superfluous floppy rings off.
The rifle preformed flawless. I put approx 75 rounds through the rifle during the day.
Feel free to ask questions, I will entertain them as long as the stay on topic.

Nice I love my RRA with an EOTech on top of her!
Nice rifle. I think your cat is looking into my soul.
