I have my Rock River Arms Entry Tactical on the way, with their detachable tactical carry handle. Will it cowitness with an aimpoint? If so then what mount will i need to get it setup right? |
The RRA Tac handle was designed with the Aimpoint and their x-wide low ring in mind. ![]() (AR00125ASSY) Tactical carry handle assembly $175.00 (Note: this will not co-witness with an EOTech, it will with an Aimpoint Comp ML or ML2 you must use the X-Wide ring) ![]() www.rbprecision.com/rock_river_arms_ar15_rifles.htm |

M2, ML2, M3, it doesn’t matter. As far as the mount goes I’ve had excellent results with Operation Parts. Extremely fast shipping! www.operationparts.com/aimpoint-sights-mounts.html |
How well does it cowitness, does it show in the center of the window or in the bottom? All this info is really helpful guys, thanks. I was also wondering, what are the big differences between the versions of the aimpoints, ex. ML, ML2, ML3..... |
I believe (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) that you can do either, center of sight picture or bottom. I set mine up to co-witness with the center...which it does nicely. You will need the Aimpoint low wide x-ring mount for the co-witness, other mounts will be too high. As far as the differences in Aimpoints, here's what I remember....M's can be used with night vision, ML's cannot. M3 and ML3 have longer battery life (by ALOT) than the M2 and ML2. Hope this helps. Also, mine IS a midlength, so I don't know if your situation would differ. |
