What's the difference between a Tactical Car A4 and a Tactical Car UTE2? And do both come with extended feed ramps?

fixed rear sight built into the upper on the UTE2

The Tactical CAR A4 uses an A4 upper receiver with removable mount (normally a Tac Mt, but also available with a Dominator 2, A2 carry handle, etc..) while the Tactical CAR UTE uses the UTE-2 upper receiver, withthe rear sight being permanently a part of the upper receiver, with an A4 height section of rail forward of the sight.
All of our factory-built uppers and rifles have extended feed ramps.

This is Feed Ramp Thursday

Before the $hit storm - RRAs feed ramps are "extended". They are not, and are not advertised as having M4 barrel extensions and M4 ramps in the receivers.

Rock River is a reputable manufacturer, can they not figure out how to make M4 feed ramps?

Figuring it out isn't an issue.  Since there is very little need for the actual M4 ramp and extension in semi-auto (and non-M4 to boot) rifles, and what we're doing works very well (even on our select-fire rifles), there really isn't any glaring need to go over to them.

I agree that M4 Ramps are NOT needed.  But, having them doesn't really hurt anything either.   It seem like such a small thing to add to your rifles, with zero impact to performance.  So, the only thing it hurts, is the small, but extra production time and cost for RRA...right?

It seems the M4 ramps are more of a marketing item, and it might be the one thing that made someone pick ABC brand over a RRA.  Wouldn't you want to capture that customer, over something like feed ramps?

but extra production time and cost for RRA customer

I just bought an RRA upper and saved over $100 compared to others on the market.  Cost was definitely a consideration in my purchase.  I know where to get the "extras" if I need them.  I'm happy with RRA doing what they're doing.

Just my opinion.
