Anybody have one of these mounts? It comes with integral rings. RRA doesn't list any info though like the actual height of the mount. Is this mount with the rings very solid and durable? I've got to put a setup on my new DPMS LR308 and was looking at a 1/2" riser and Burris Tactical Rings but now I'm wondering about just going with the RRA mount.

Many manufacturers don't list critical info like the height of these mounts.  Doesn't make any sense to me.

I've never used the RRA, but here's a page with all the one-piece mounts I've been able to find, along with pics:
www.maxicon.com/guns/optics/one_piece/ar15_onepiece_mounts.htm

A one-piece typically has 2 functions for positioning the scope - giving you the right height, and adding more room to move the scope forward for eye relief.

You'll note that the RRA doesn't give very much forward eye relief compared to most of the other mounts.

The Armalite's got good forward eye relief, but is a little low at 1.25" at the centerline.  The LaRue gets the best reviews, and has both good height at 1.5" and lots of eye relief, but is more expensive.

If you're looking for inexpensive, the Model 1 Sales appears to be in the same league as the RRA, but gives a good bit more eye relief.  Dunno about the height on that one, either.

Don't have an exact measurement,  RRA is higher than an Armalite.

Found this info on RB Precision's site regarding the RRA mount:

Height from receiver to  bottom of cradle 1.187
Height from receiver to center of rings 1.687
Overall height 2.187
Overall length 5.250
Distance between cradles 2 5/8"
This is for a scope with a 1" diameter body tube (we do not have one for a 30mm)
Made from aluminum, hard anodized
