Yes, when mounting a scope on an AR you need a set of rings/mount that is designed to be used on an AR. Larue makes the best mount IMO, but there are many options available from other makers that are less expensive and will probably be good enough. Bear in mind that in addition to the proper height you will also need to have the correct eye relief. Many scopes will require a mount that shift the scope forward some over the handguards. |
