| Just got a flyer from R Guns. They've got an upper/lower combo in digital camo listed. So, anyone have an upper or lower from them? If so, how's the quality? Make their own, or does another manufacturer do them? I kind of like the digital camo look on the set. It would look kinda good with desert tan furniture. Thanks. Greg |
| I'm local, so I deal with them directly. Small shop, good guys, never a bad experience, Running their upper/lower combos on two of my four rifles, machining is nice and clean, fit is nice and snug. Saw the digital camo last weekend with green furniture and it looked bad ass. They also had a winter digital set up with black furniture that was begging me to take it home, but like I said, I've already got four to feed. |

I'm local too, live in DuPage county, been to their shop twice. Would rather deal with Mega than make the trek up to them. Both times I felt they thought they were doing me a favor when I was shopping there. I've bought a stock from therm, an upper, and multi-tool, parts were acceptable but why put up with the attitude? |

I ordered a case of ammo from them a couple of years ago.
Two orders in one, first and last!! I think the ammo they sent was leftovers,it had M193,M855,and softpoints mixed in,and they would never even give me an answer as to whether or not the ammo had been shipped!! Never again!!!!!! |

I am local to them and have bought a number of items from them over the years.
Really depends who you get when you call or go in there, couple of decent guys or maybe just a good moment when I was talking to them but mostly they are a-holes. No customer service. They know they have good prices. At the same time you ever see what gun dealers deal with especially places that mainly deal with assault weapons, I have personally seen people in there I would not want to talk to or help either so I can see where they get pissy sometimes. |

arnt ar15s and ak47s assault weapons? as far as i know they are. your thinking of chicago and cook county, they are illegal there. you can have pretty much anything you want accross the rest of the state as long as its not fully automatic. (and you dont ttry to carry it)
i have bought 2 uppers and some uppercomponents from them. in person mind you, and i know one guy in there is a dick, he is the owner, the other guys and especially the gunsmith are real cool guys. have helpped me out for free many times. i have no exp ordering from them though, i guess thats a whole different group. i too am thinking about getting thier digital camo upper and lower. |
