So i am currently planning out my second AR build and am looking to build a good varmit gun and am looking either to build a 20" or 24" upper. I am trying to keep the cost down preferrably under 5-600 for the upper half. I ran across the R guns site and they have a 24" with a twisted bull barrel for 460. My question is what kind of quality can i expect from R guns? I currently have a Stags 3HL upper and love it. can i expect the same quality as the stags from R guns?

I have a lower from RGuns and it is not that great of quality.  Fit and finish is poor on the one I have.  Also, the Mag well is to tight and won't drop any magazines without having to yank them out.  This includes GI aluminum mags.  I have yet to find a mag that will drop free from it.  I suggest a Spikes lower or a PSA lower for a budget build to make sure you get quality.

They are 15 mins away from me and I have used them many times in the past for parts and such, but I think that you can do better with quality from other manufacturers when it comes to their uppers. I have never tried one myself, I have just looked them over when in the store.

I'm happy with the rguns parts I have, but for a varmint rig, i'd look elsewhere.
