Is Radical Firearms G2G?
Specifically their uppers? |

Quoted: The barrel extensions may or may not be torqued correctly and may come loose I've used a couple That was a "spot" problem 9 months ago, acknowledged and fixed. My 2nd RF upper purchase was in March and I had NO problem with the barrel extension when I swapped out the A2 for a muzzle brake ... just as I had NO problem last August with my first RF upper purchase when I swapped out the A2 for a linear comp. Both were done with my Geissele reaction rod. I have had ZERO problems with either upper. |

My wife bought me a .458Socom upper from them for my birthday last month. Fit and finish overall looks great. There was a little bit of what looks like rust on the crush washer, but that's stupid easy to swap out. Also, the staking on the gas key was too light for my taste, so I'll re-stake it after I swap out the MIM gas key for a different one. I wasn't prepared when she bought it, so I haven't shot it yet. I'm currently looking for ammo for it so I can go shoot it.
One minor complaint is that the M-lok version of the Seekins rail they use was announced 2 days after I got mine. I ended up with keymod when they'll probably offer M-lok in the future on their builds. It's not worth it to me to go through the hassle of buying a new rail and swapping it out, but it would have been nice. |
