I searched around but can't find the radius (or cutter diameter) for the trigger slot in the AR-15 lower. Read the print on CNC Gunsmithing and the large print on Biggerhammer.net. Looks like to use a 7/16" dia end mill to cut the FCG cavity, but the trigger slot itself is only 0.312" wide. Maybe a 5/16" end mill? |

I have not done this but searching around it seems like a 5/16" end mill is recommended for the trigger slot. I looked at the 1st and 3rd hits.... |
