I need help finding the right rail cover for me.

I am all about rubberized rail covers on my AR. This is what has caused me to go from ladder covers, to Knight's Armament, to Tango Down, to Magpul XTM, back to ladder covers.

I swear I have seen what I am thinking about in my head but I cannot find them anywhere. I want to get a rail panel just like the Tango Down/Troy/LWRCI/Knight's but being a little thinner and having a rubber surface.

I love Magpul but I hate their rail covers, aside from the ladders.

I want more of a panel like Tango Down/Troy/LWRCI to sort of round out the shape of my DD forearm, without adding a shit load of bulk.

Help. Please! Rubberized rail panel (of good quality), I long for. Can any of you gents help me?

I've tried all sorts of them and always end up going back to ladder style. Daniel Defense had the best deal the last time I checked. All the other styles make the handguard too large in my opinion.

I didn't take it that way.  And in fact, that's exactly what I started doing as soon as I posted this thread.  Great minds......and all that.

I really like the Troy, but I am looking for something with a rubberized surface.  If that Troy cover that you posted had a rubber surface, it would be EXACTLY what I'm looking for.

Maybe you just need to dump the quad rail and try a tube style rail.

This. The Troy Alpha with Squid grips feels awesome.

I'm personally fond of LaRue index clips. They are low profile and fit exactly where you need them.

My new personal favorite too. Cost isn't bad either.

Nice, but not "rubberized" like the OP wants.

Why have a quad rail if youre not gonna put anything on it?  It just means extra weight.

I actually was running those for awhile and moved them to my 2nd AR.  They're my second to ladder covers.

Just stick with ladders my friend, or you could try contacting talon grips and ask them to make you a custom rubber grip you can stick on to any rail cover.

Like this but for rail covers.

Find one that you like, and buy plasti-dip in the aerosol can. Spray on rubber coating.

Boom.
