So there are like a million different rail covers...I think I am pretty much set eighter Magpul, Troy, or Tango down covers. Right now I am leaning toward the Magpul XTM rails. But still like the full length covers...So I guess I am just gonna have to decide. But before I do, I want to know what do yall use or recommend. Pics would be nice. Going on a Omega 7 rail. |

I like rail ladders. Check out the Surefire Z70 Ladders, very comfortable and they are only $15 for all 3 versus $12 per ladder from Magpul

Another +1 for the XTMs.
I use XTMs on my middy with an Omega 9. If you match them up on each side (i.e., same location) then they will look nice like one-piece covers. I had to cut one of my panels to leave open the QD socket on one side (used delicate strokes with a hacksaw and some sandpaper to smooth) and it looks fine. I will post pics later tonight. |
