I'm lookin for a picatinny fore-end for my Bushy M-4 I just got, cant afford a A.R.M.S. but i've narrowed it down to a YHM 2 Piece or a Sure-Fire. It will be used for a White Light and A vertical grip and MAYBE eventually a Laser.

I don't know what the ones you are looking at cost, but I just bought a LaRue 7.0 (which most regard as the best) for $250.

My first thought is you should read this tacked thread
FAQ: The Big Thread On FF & Railed Forends in the Rifles, Uppers, Lowers, Barrels, and more forum.

I appreciate the help but I want more than a list, like actual experience with my 2 choices and which is better, SO..

Since you narrowed it down to only those two, the best out of the two, IMO, is the YHM two piece.  They install very tightly.

There is some info in that thread about what you're looking for. I would also suggest that you try searching the boards for info on these rail systems. There have been plenty of posts about both of them. Finally, I was informing you that you're barking up the wrong tree. Rail system discussions commonly occur in the Rifles, Uppers, Lowers, Barrels and more forum. If you post your question there, you will get more information.

The Surefire M73 is the best rail I have used

Given those two options, I'd take the Sure-Fire every time.  Not sure about it's suitability for mounting a laser though.

If it were me, I'd eat ramen noodles for a few weeks and put the extra $$$ towards a Daniel Defense or Larue free-float tube.  In the long run, I think that you'll be much happier with a FF rail system.

What about the YHM Lightweight Free float Forend? I got mine for $89.00. Mine has a Surefire and Fore grip on it , the magpull rail covers fit great on it.

M4Madness,

Where did you get the LaRue 7.0? I can't find anyone with them in stock.
