Hey guys,  im in the market for a new handguard for my smith and Wesson m& p15t. I want something lightweight and in the 9 to 11 inch range.  I believe my smith came with a utg rail.  It appears to be the 9 inch version.   I was looking at the larues but they seem a little heavy am i wrong bout this? Either way i still like the larues but the 13inch utg is 15.8 oz and i have the 9 inch.  Any recommendations?  Thanks guys

Edit i would also be interested in uppers if you guys had any recommendations.

I like the kac urx systems but dont i need a special wrench/a "kac" armorer to install them?
In doing my own research im split between this and the larue.

Go with one of the centurion arms c4 rails i believe they are all free floating and they dont require any special tools or barrel nuts......my 10 in rails took all of five min to put on an they are light weight

I'm getting the Midwest Industries Gen 2 Two Piece Free Float. Great pricing and pretty light compared to others. Mine will be the 9" variety.

Linky

Good Luck,
Paul

I have a DD 9in Omega on my gun and I love it so far. I don't think you can go wrong with Daniel Defense.
